The rear geared kits are a super high performance ultralight (9 lbs) more torque than the Direct drive, they 100% freewheel when not under battery power. They are about 15% more efficient as they are able to use a smaller motor with a ultra quiet planetary gear system that allow the motor to run at peak performance and RPM's = 15% more range & More low end torque!
